Clayseal Geosynthetic Clay Liners

Geosynthetic Clay Liner (GCL) is a sealing material produced by combining natural sodium bentonite clay with two geotextile layers or a combination of a geomembrane and a geotextile layer. When in contact with water, bentonite expands, forming an impermeable barrier. GCLs have been developed as an alternative to traditional compacted clay layers, offering a thinner yet highly effective sealing solution. Due to its excellent impermeability, chemical resistance, and ease of application, it is widely used in various applications.

  • Waste Storage Sites
  • Mine Waste Ponds
  • Pond and Dam Projects
  • Foundation and Ground Insulation
  • Environmental Protection Projects
  • High Sealing Performance: Provides excellent impermeability due to the expansion properties of bentonite clay.

  • Chemical Resistance: Resistant to various chemicals and solvents.

  • Easy Application: Faster and more practical to apply compared to traditional clay layers.

  • Long-Lasting Durability: Ensures long-term performance due to its high resistance.

  • Adaptability to Challenging Ground Conditions: Performs effectively in different soil conditions.

  • Eco-Friendly: Natural bentonite content does not harm the environment and is nature-friendly.
